New Vantage GTR Porsche Cayenne

TOPCAR Company has prepared a limited series Vantage GTR Porsche Cayenne. Only 25 cars will be manufactured, each of them manufactured in compliance with client’s wishes and will have its personal number.

While tuning the car, designers of TOPCAR Company combined aerodynamic kits from Advantage GT and Vantage – each of 25 Porsche Cayenne will have this integrated aerodynamic kit, where front optics remains standard, but the car receives enlarged rear wings with impressive air inlets from Advantage GT. In this way, SUV visually transforms into coupe, but it has no round lights of 911 model in 997 body. It means that in the near future another 25 fierce and aggressive Porsche Cayenne, will be on road, making horror to their standard fellow creatures.

When a new body kit is installed, hood, radiator guard, front bumper, sills, rear bumper are replaced and rear wings are equipped with moldings. Knobs of rear doors disappear. Neat buttons replace them; they are thoroughly hidden in big side air inlets, as in Advantage GT Project. Similar to the previous aerodynamic body kits from TOPCAR Company, Vantage GTR body kits are manufactured of reinforced Kevlar, and some elements are produced of dry carbon.

But TOPCAR Company places its stake not only on exterior of the project. As usual, the interior is also subject to substantial re-development. TOPCAR Company offers even more expensive leather, alcantara, exclusive woods, parts of carbon, and also clear stitches and decorative solutions, including, among other, a plate with individual number on the central console.

German company 9FF is a traditional partner of TOPCAR Company in tuning of engines of Porsche Cayenne.

Within the frame of this project TOPCAR Company has already manufactured 7 cars. The price of aerodynamic body kit for Vantage GTR is EURO 45,000. This aerodynamic kit can be created on the basis of any Porsche Cayenne, even from previous generation.

Lamborghini Murciélago LP670 R-SV by REITER Engineering

The new Lamborghini LP670 R-SV by REITER Engineering was unveiled to the public few months after the official presentation Geneva. Lamborghini GT1 race car is presented to the public at the 24-hours of SPA. Car is based on the Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4.

It is equipped with a more powerful 6.5 V12 engine, which produce 670 PS/493 kW. The FIA-ECU from Magneti Marelli regulates the engine control.

The Lamborghini P670 R-SV is designed and manufactured to comply with the FIA 2010 regulations. The FIA allows 6 automobile brands to be nominated. The race car is targeting to be nominated for the GT World Championship.

The GT1 machine from REITER measures 4800 mm in length and is 2058 mm wide. The total weight is only 1,150 kg (+ ballast to correspond with the FIA 2010 regulations).

A complete carbon outer skin clothes the Lamborghini racer. Its new visual appearance is unmistakable – extreme and uncompromising. The significantly modified aerodynamics improves the aerodynamic efficiency compared to its predecessor the Murciélago R-GT.

In addition, the engineers could also improve the suspension geometry. Compared to its forerunner, the new suspension geometry with modified roll-centre height and improved steering geometry, modified track width and re-engineered suspension components characterise the new Lamborghini race car.

The race braking system, comprised of carbon discs and pads, was also re-engineered and is now equipped with superior cooling.

Objects you do not want to see in your rear-view mirror: Hungry dinosaurs, pissed-off exes holding rifles, mushroom clouds and this guy. Indeed, you're looking at a Lexus IS-Force, an IS-F that's been converted to a cruiser for police duty in the English county of Humberside, which includes the notoriously criminally minded port city of Hull. For the past few years, Humberside bobbies have been chasing baddies in Subaru Imprezas, but the AWD cars just weren't up to the task at hand. What to replace 'em with? Here's what the cops were thinking, according to Sergeant Mike Peck:

"The Lexus was tested during a 12-month period along with similar vehicles and proved itself to be ideally suited in providing a dynamically safe high performance chassis along with an electronically stable platform for the computer equipment. In the past this equipment has placed huge demands on vehicles but the Lexus IS-F easily met with our requirements. The final product provides a most formidable package and is undoubtedly one of the most advanced police vehicles in the world which in turn enables my officers to deal with the criminals who use the roads for serious and organized crime."

Well, not quite extras, because if you know the Lexus brand well enough, they rarely come with an options list, as all the trick stuff is fitted as standard kit. It’s one of the brand’s main selling points, apart from the near faultless reliability and subsequent cost of ownership.These options include on-board computers and communications equipment.

However, Lexus produce mostly soft luxury cars don’t they? Mostly.

But this is the Lexus IS-F, powered by a 5-litre V8 engine, which has been specially tuned to deliver blistering acceleration and a top speed of 270km/h.

World famous tuning company “Gemballa” presented new modification of Porsche Carrera GT. The name of this supercar is “Gemballa Mirage GT Matt Edition”.

This Mirage GT has 650hp and is capable of 0-100km/h (62mph) in 3.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the standard car. 0 – 200km/h is also dealt with in 0.2 seconds less, 9.7 seconds in total. It tops out at 335 km/h (208mph).

The exterior looks stunning as always with Mirage GT’s. The mix of matte black paint work and silver accents really make the car stand out. As with most tuners, Gemballa have added a garish ‘one-off’ theme to the car. A mixture of black material, blue alcantara and a space age-looking silver material...

News from Stuttgart – The new E-Class has gotten off to a very successful start, with more than 40,000 units delivered to customers since the market introduction in spring 2009. Mercedes-Benz expects sales of the new E-Class to receive a further boost in the coming months from the vehicle’s introduction in key markets including the U.S. and China and the launch of the new station wagon in fall 2009.

The new E-Class models have outstanding fuel economy. The sedan’s four- and six-cylinder engines have direct injection systems and consume far less fuel than their predecessors despite their greater output. This month also marked the sales release of two new four-cylinder engines, which combine higher fuel efficiency with the level of driving comfort that is typical of Mercedes-Benz.

The two new units round out the Mercedes-Benz engine range in the business class. The E 200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with 100 kW/136 hp consumes 5.2 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers. And the new E 200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY with direct injection delivers 135 kW/184 hp and consumes only 7.2 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers. The model program of the sporty coupe also includes two new four-cylinder engines that require significantly less fuel while offering a clear increase of output and torque. The E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY coupe consumes just 5.1 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers while emitting only 135 grams of CO2 per kilometer, which makes it one of the most economical automobiles in its class.

The special characteristics of the new E-Class include not only a high level of environmental friendliness, but also a unique combination of driver assistance systems. Approximately a dozen different assistance systems are available to customers, including new Mercedes-Benz developments such as Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Assist, and Night View Assist. These technologies make the E-Class a “thinking” partner that can not only see, feel, and respond to dangers by means of its “reflexes,” but also act independently to prevent accidents or minimize their effects.

The new E-Class is the successor of an internationally successful Mercedes-Benz model. ABT POWER even makes the already quick Audi S4 faster. Although the V6 compressor with three litre cubic capacity is already very sporty with its 333 HP (245kW), anyone who wants even more dynamism and torque can obtain a super sports car with the ABT S4: the decent-elegant car then brings 435 HP or 320 kW onto the road. And the additional 102 horsepower, which are employed in the ABT S4, suit the car extremely well in terms of nutrition: it achieves 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds, while in the series standard this takes 5.1 seconds. A half a second difference is an eternity for high-performance vehicles of this kind. The top speed is 282 km/h – and that is 32 km/h more than the Audi S4. This is because the engine, tuned by ABT Sportsline, is, of course, supplied without a V-max limit.

The torque of the engine optimised in Allgäu also appears to be as strong as an ox: instead of 440 Nm now 520 Nm are available – an increase of around 19 percent. As a result the 3.0 TFSI gets to work powerfully in any situation. The extra performance brings additional driving enjoyment and shows its superiority in practically all seven gears of the DSG gearbox. The consumption – and thereby the environmental pollution – is, however, no greater than with the series engine. On the other hand the driving-dynamic difference is revealed on main roads and motorways, as because the ABT S4 does everything even better, it is sportier. Capable of a powerful acceleration to top speed, the six cylinders now get to business. The Allgäu tuner recommends the 4-pipe sports exhaust unit and the ABT AR or BR wheels as fitting supplements to the power image of the car. Bugatti EB 110 Crash During Bavaria Moscow City Racing

Bugatti EB110, the model shown in the video here crashed in Moscow. The car, one of only 139 ever produced, crashed into a cement gutter and embankment on the side of the road during the Bavaria Moscow City Racing 2009 event.

At 25-second mark you will see the rear passenger wheel snap off and fly up into the air. The rear bumper looks to have been partially torn off, which also forced open one of the scissors-doors.

The EB110 was built to celebrate the 110th birthdate of Ettore Bugatti, and is the predecessor to the Veyron. The four-wheel drive car features a mid-engined 3.5-liter quad-turbo V12 that produces up to 542 horsepower. It has a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds, and a 343 km/h (213 mph) top speed. A year after its 1991 debut, Bugatti released a SuperSport model that shaved the 0-100 km/h time by 0.2 seconds, while increasing the top speed to 348 km/h (216 mph). The SS debuted at $350,000.

According to newspaper the accident took place during the second supercar parade. Behind the wheel was a Russian man with a "supermodel girlfriend" sitting in the passenger seat. Both seemed to be undamaged physically, but the destruction of a $2 million car likely caused some emotional damage.

Audi released official details and images of the new 2010 A5 Sportback . A5 Sportback follows the same coupe-styled sedan as the Mercedes CLS but it is a five-door coupe! Every NBA fan must have heard of Ronny Turiaf, who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors. The French professional basketball player recently sent his Chevrolet for customization to ''Platinum Motorsport'', a well-known restyling and upgrading cars company.

This, however, is a common practice among NBA players, who practically compete for the title of who has a more pimped ride. This time, Platinum Motorsport had to spice up Turiaf’s black Chevy Tahoe, that now looks more like a rapper’s ride.

The car comes in a choice of three engines: a 4.8L V8 unit (295 hp at 5600 rpm), a 5.3L V8 unit (320 hp at 5200 rpm) , or a 6.2 V8 unit (395 hp at 5600 rpm). We can only assume that Turiaf’s model is not a hybrid and features the 6.2 V8 unit engine .

Porsche Panamera - Fastest 4-door Production

A German magazine is reporting that a Porsche Panamera Turbo driven by racing legend and Porsche test driver Walter Röhrl has lapped the Nürburgring race track in 7:56, a time that would shave about three seconds off of the record-setting 7:59.32 time achieved by the Cadillac CTS-V.

According to Sportauto, the Panamera Turbo used for the timed lap featured the optional Sport Chrono Package, including ceramic brakes.

The Nürburgring is extensively used for new car development. The record-breaking CTS-V, which was driven around the track last May by former General Motors Performance Division chief John Heinricy, was sold by the automaker at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Arizona earlier this year.

The all-new Jaguar XJ made its official debut at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, London. The car is now available for order and prices for UK starts from £52,500 for the standard wheelbase 3.0-liter V6 diesel luxury.

The 2010 XJ is the first Jaguar model built on Jaguar’s aerospace-inspired aluminum body technology. It will be available with a choice of new ultra-efficient Gen III petrol and diesel engines: 3.0-liter V6 diesel, 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 and 5.0-liter supercharged V8.

Jaguar will offer both standard and long-wheelbase versions, the last one adding an extra 125mm of legroom. Also all the latest Jaguar technologies will make their way into the new model: air suspension, Adaptive Dynamics (continuously variable damping), Active Differential Control and quick-ratio power steering.

The XJ's rear graphic is completely unlike any Jaguar we can recall, with a simple, sheer dropoff in the trunklid (under which you'll find a vast 18.4 cubic-foot trunk), a pair of tapering vertical LED taillamps, a sizable metal leaper and nicely integrated exhaust outlets. In person, if anything, the rear end feels a bit Gallic or Italian, reminding alternatively of the Citroen C6 or perhaps the Lancia Thesis. Of minor note for American customers, the car's license cutout was clearly designed with Europe's longer, thinner number plates in mind, and we suspect that their U.S. counterparts will protrude unflatteringly below the bottom edge of the bumper (we suspect our plates are going to look a bit awkward up front, too). Perhaps more than any other view, the XJ's rear aspect is the one that translates least well to photographs, but it fits well in person, even if it will take a bit of time to get used to. Either way, with a .29 cD, officials reckon it's the most aerodynamic Jaguar ever built.

At the background event, we were given the chance to see the XJ in several different shades of paint, and the design has real presence. It looks particularly sensational in black, where it could pass for Bruce Wayne's limo in some Anglicized futurethink Gotham City. Lighter colors bring out the surface detailing more, but in that ebony shade, the darkened rear pillar ceases to become a controversial detail, the panoramic roof blends in, and the whole car looks at once fantastically menacing and impossibly upscale. Democratize this.

While we'll have to wait to get behind the wheel to assure that the driving experience and everyday usability of the technology is there, our first impressions left us mightily impressed. Far from representing "the democratization of luxury," not only does this XJ appear to be the measure of its German competitors, it may well play as a strong foil for higher-end offerings like the Maserati Quattroporte and perhaps even more overtly sporting propositions like the Porsche Panamera. And while we haven't entirely stopped worrying about our friends in Coventry, there's more reason than ever to think that the Leaping Cat's claws are sharp once again.

Porsche 911 Turbo Reformed by 'Sportec' - 858HP

For many, the standard Porsche 911 Turbo’s 480HP 3.6-liter bi-turbocharged flat six is fast enough, but there’s always room for improvement, according to Porsche tuning specialist Sportec. The Swiss based tuner revealed a new version of its 911 Turbo based SPR1 that lifts the 3.6-liter flat six’s output to a staggering 858 horsepower at 8,200 rpm and 642 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 4,800 rpm. Power is transferred to all four wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. According to Sportec, the SPR1 takes a mere 3.0 seconds to hit 62mph with 186mph coming in just 18.9 seconds. The Swiss firm said that the supercar has recorded a top speed in excess of 236mph or at Nardo, Italy.

Infiniti launches first European showroom

Nissan has opened the first stand-alone showroom in Europe for its luxury brand Infiniti.

The sleek, arty 500-square-meter shop is in the heart of an exclusive part of the French capital. The showroom previews a design concept that will roll out across Europe over the next two years, as the Japanese carmaker launches its premium carmaker.

Infiniti needs to differentiate itself from entrenched German premium-segment competitors Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi as well as from Toyota's Lexus brand.

The Infiniti Retail Environment Design Initiative aims to create what Nissan Executive Vice President Carlos Tavares calls "an inviting atmosphere'' for clients trough ''a subtle display of Japanese care and hospitality.

Inifiniti plans to open another 14 sites by year-end in major European capitals to sell its four-car European line: the G37 lower-premium sedan and coupe, and the EX37, FX37 and FX50 premium SUVs.
